Victoria Nile Trading Co (VNTC) is a commercial enterprise created to promote economic self-reliance in Africa. We sell handmade African craft items including jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings) made from recycled paper and bone, as well as baskets, cloth, art, and vintage tribal masks. We buy directly from producers in Uganda and pay them a premium over local market prices. We also return a share of the profits to them for use in community development projects. Any profits not reinvested in the business are used to support Christian missions in Africa.
