I am Vijay Kumar. I live in Lenexa, Kansas. Wood has been one of my most favorite things of the nature. For this reason, when I retired from academic world, I moved to the world of wood and morphed into a serious wood worker and wood turner.
After the beginning ......
I had my workshop in the basement of my house, which was not a good place for woodworking or woodturning. So after I retired, I moved most of my shop from the basement in the garage. I now use the basement shop for small projects such as making spoons, small gift items, and so on and use garage shop for major woodworking projects such as wood turning, building furniture, etc.
The present .......
I wanted to make my woodworking hobby a self-supporting business, so I opened a shop VijaysUniqueWoodArt on Etsy. It is slowly making its presence in the market. I hope that with the help of my loyal customers, it will continue to grow and may soon become one of the favorite shops for handmade items.
