Witchie Faerie is a family business started by a single mom in 2010.
A passion became a hobby, and a hobby a business thanks to the help of my friends and family.
Presently, we offer wholesale soap for businesses and organizations, locally as well as online and in other venues such as fairs, and local markets.
Why Organic Artisan Soaps?
In 2010, like the majority of Americans I was stuck in a rut. Not only weight wise, dietary wise, but spiritually speaking. I started to read about herbs and obtained a Master Certificate in Herbalism in 2013 witch combined with my B.S. in Chemistry turned out to be invaluable.
I was interested in how flowers and essences could alleviate pain and conditions for humans and for pets (cats, dogs). That is when I discover a hobby at the time through books, videos, and websites that taught me step by step hundreds of recipes on how to make soap.
On my spare time I started to make soap as a hobby and gifting it in small gift bags and baskets to friends and family which seemed to react sincerely happy and asked for more different types of soaps and smells. Trying to please everyone my recipe soap collection went up to 400 types of soaps and this taught me that I couldnt please everyone.
In 2013, I went around festivals and events in the St. Petersburg and Plant City, Florida to suvey which types of soaps were most liked by the public and I found answers to my questions.
THe Witchie Faerie name came to me from the duality of women and their desire to be both at times naughty and nice. I wanted to make women feel better about themselves or at least relasease tension when trying my products..as worry is a female trait.
Today, I promote my business through festivals, events, online, and retail storefront that will open this year. Please, call me anytime or post on the blog to ask questions. My main expertise is in herbal soaps, and wholesale although I also do fancy soaps for wedding favors.
