I'm Bill Peterson. I make one-of-a-kind stone topped folk art tables. I use local Lyons sandstone from quarries near my home in Boulder. Most tables include a semi-precious focus stone. The rims are used whiskey barrel hoops or thin steel bands. The tops sit on recycled bases, sturdy three rod hair pin legs. I get the grout, sealants and other stuff from the McGunkin's hardware store in Boulder Colorado.
I started out making them for myself and my friends, but I like it so much I have some for sale.
Most of my tables are sold at art fairs where people have a chance to feel them and appreciate their construction.
