Walelu Scrubs was founded in 2018 by Brooklyn (Walelu) (age 6) & Bryce (age 11) Trubenstein. Walelu is Cherokee for hummingbird which is the name given to Brooklyn by her Grandfather Douglas (Dark Water) Keys. The Cherokee people view the hummingbird as the bird of grace and beauty.
Brooklyn and Paige (Sweet Grass) are both registered Cherokee Indians of the Bird Clan. Walelu Scrubs is the family business which was developed to create bath and beauty products that are made of only natural and organic products to reduce our chemical intake and reconnect with the natural benefits nature offers us.
All of our products are made using all-natural ingredients and are only tested on friends and family. We offer pet products which are designed with all-natural ingredients and developed to make our four-legged friends lives as comfortable as possible. Paige's background as a certified veterinary technician insures that no harmful ingredients are included in any of the products in our pet line.
Our products are made in small batches with our kids. This allows us to teach our children about where the natural ingredients come from & how to use them for our health. This also teaches our children how to manage money, communicate with others, run a business and enjoy the benefits that can come from working hard.
