It has been an honor serving our nation, from the nearly 22 years in the United States Army, and serving in the Arizona legislature. After leaving the Army, my call to service wasn't finished because fighting for the present and future of our nation is critical. In 2017, I decided to run for the legislature because Arizona needed strong leadership and the ability to tackle complex issues. No one expected an unknown and inexperienced candidate to win, but with the support of so many, we not only won but received the most votes of any candidate.
