Wanapum Native American Discovery Unit is an extension of the Wanapum Heritage Center and we serve as a way to inform the public of the Wanapum People and their traditions. When requested we do demonstrations to the public the traditional arts that are still practiced today by the Wanapum people: tule mat making, hemp string twining and beadwork.
