We Rock was formed when Ruth and I started painting rocks when the Covid Pandemic hit. After a few months we decided to start selling them at local farmers' markets that were open during the summer of 2020. Then we tried our hand at wrapping vases in exotic papers from around the world and putting lights in them to make them glow. While still painting rocks, we found beautiful, all organic papers to wrap our vases. Acid-free, handmade papers made with fibers from the Kozo bush, some with real flower and prairie grass inclusions, and some hand-painted and dyed all in vibrant colors and patterns.
This became the driving force behind We Rock. We knew we wanted to share our handcrafted products with the public and have decided to sell at Arts and Crafts Fairs up and down the coast of California. Our start was hampered by the pandemic but it has given us time to refine and hone our skills. Ruth and I still love to paint rocks and those are featured along with our glow vases.
