Wild Bird Rescue & Rehab (WBRR), formerly known as Wild B.I.R.D. Information and Rehabilitation of Denver, was created in 1999 by a group of caring citizens who were passionate about the survival and health of the wild bird population in the Denver metro area of Colorado. WBRR's mission, to rescue and rehabilitate injured, sick, and orphaned wild birds for release into appropriate habitats, has been realized for over fifteen years with tremendous luck and at great personal sacrifice by its creators. Using superior rehabbing skills, including the development of homeopathic remedies that give some injured and sick birds a chance at life that modern medicine cannot offer, the talented staff at WBRR grew from rehabilitating hundreds of wild birds annually to thousands of wild bird annually – all funded by individual donations.
