The Wild East Story
In 2010, after living in India for a year and a half, my husband and I made a commitment to fund the education of two children we came to know during our stay.
After an unexpected death in their family and resulting loss of income, I started Wild East Imports in part, to provide an employment opportunity for the mother of one of the children.
The Wild East Imports vision is to continue creating direct education and employment opportunities for Indian families, while making unique and beautiful Indian textiles available in the US.
