As a glass, ceramic and metal artist I strive to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are not only fine craft, but cross over into fine art. Every piece I work on is an exploration. I live for the what if? in my work. I am of Creek and Cherokee descent and try to bring the two worlds I live in together in a contemporary way. I do this through the imagery I choose, which is often my own beadwork patterns, and then I match it to the forms I create. This combination creates a contradiction I thrive on in my work.
