Member Since: February 8, 2010
Panama City Beach, Florida

Robby Entrekin ( son of listed American Artist William Entrekin) grew up in rural northwest Georgia. As a young boy he watched as his father captured the simple, often overlooked, everyday people and places of the south on canvas and paper.

Robby soon found the brushes screaming for him also, and now shares his work  with you. Robby shares below a poem he wrote for his Father.

The Brushes Screams For Me
By Robby Entrekin

The Shadow, the color, the light on the tree
And there lay the brushes that still scream for me

The color that whispers, the panels that bleed
yet still lay the brushes , still screaming for me

Hid from the eyes of those who can't see
But the brushes are screaming, still screaming to me

The paper, the pencil , they sing to you see
But the brushes lay screaming, screaming to me

Like reaching to the lover the first time you see
I reached for the brushes, still screaming for me.

The anger, the passion, like the depths of the sea
Shared through the brushes, that once screamed to me.
