"Bringing their swinging sounds to the stage, Wilson String Band is a high-energy family group from Phoenix, Arizona. The whole family will charm you with their proficient instrument switching and humorous family interplay. The band is made up of "The Mom", Deanna, on rhythm guitar and honky-tonk piano, "The Dad", Andrew, a nationally recognized and awarded fiddle champion, down through the 4 kids-Jake, the 16 year old upright bass and mandolin player, 15 year-old Zack on lap steel and guitar, 11 year old fiddle player and vocalist Brandon, and youngest sister Cara, singing in a voice that belies her 8 years of age. They keep the audience guessing by playing music across the genres, from Louis Armstrong to Bob Wills, incorporating it all into their Western Swing sound."
