I am a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. I reside in Shawnee, Ok. I have been working in scrimshaw art for the past six years. Most of the pieces I do are miniatures, approximately 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches but they can be any size. I have done some wildlife scenes, herbal and other plant life, as well as birds and several scenes of historical and cultural relevance. I design clan totems and various tribal symbols on shells to be worn as necklaces. I also make jewelry with semi-precious gemstones, bone and shell.
