Wood Works by Design makes handcrafted artisan items using the most beautiful woods from the state of Michigan. Each item is one of a kind, highlighting the natural beauty of the wood and the functionality of the piece. We prefer to work with rescued wood – wood destined for destruction in some fashion and reclaimed lumber which is wood retrieved from its original application for subsequent use.
