I love working with wood. I started making shelves, candle holders, picture frames, towel racks, cutting boards, toy boxes(and pretty much whatever my wife wanted me to make). Soon I added hand turned items like pens, wine bottle stoppers, razors and darts.
My wife enjoys quilting, sewing and making home decor items, including wooden signs.
We started making gifts for family and friends as a hobby in our small 1 car garage and small spare bedroom several years ago. After moving to North Carolina and retiring, our workshops grew and we started making more gifts than we bought.
After receiving numerous requests from family, friends, friends of family and total strangers who saw our work, we decided to turn our hobby into a business.
