Hailing from Saint Paul, Minnesota, recording artist, songwriter and entrepreneur YaLonda Lolar-Johnson has a voice to be reckoned with. From a young age this Twin Cities native has been using her anointed voice to inspire and encourage the world.
Her love for music and her musical gift emerged from a long lineage of musical giftedness. YaLonda's maternal great grandmother and great aunts along with her paternal grandmother sang in musical groups throughout her childhood. YaLonda sang her first solo in church at the age of eight and knew by the ago of 12 she wanted a career in the music industry. She attributes some of her inspiration to her home church, Glendale SDA Church, where she had the privilege of hearing powerful singing groups like The Remnants, The Demps & Taylor Families, Ngozi, songwriter and composer, Louis Boney and the Glendale Church Choir.
