Singer-songwriter Blue-eyed Son's (aka Andrew Heilprin) shimmering acoustic mutations were revealed in his 2004 debut, West of Lincoln - a critically acclaimed album that swam beneath the surface of the mainstream while yielding national tours and international tours to both Japan and Australia.
Recently, Shadows on the Son EP, which revels in the spirit of alt-rock greats such as Wilco, Grandaddy, and The Flaming Lips, was released on May 28th via Eenie Meenie Records. Earlier in the summer, he finished a 30+ day-9000 mile-minivan-tour, including 5 shows in Japan.
