Carey's Gourmet operates a home based catering business and specializes in full-service catering and event planning for upscale events in the region. Our business event management team and special event staff has catered a variety of cuisines for weddings, corporate events and banquets. We have business relationships that allow us to establish a loyal customer base. Carey's Gourmet serves both business and private clients in the Tri-State Areas which include, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York and the surrounding area. Our business was established in August of 1991, Carey is a native of Newark NJ, where his talents were developed through apprenticeship at some of the finer hotels in the city such as the Historical Robert Treat Hotel, Newark Sheraton, and the Radisson at Newark Airport. He has extensive food and beverage management experience professional. Carey's Gourmet has a signature dish called a Collard Green Eggroll. There are four varieties vegetarian, smoked turkey, BBQ turkey and salmon. All of our cooking is done from scratch using the freshest ingredients and customized for each families dietary needs. The A&P supported the Collard Green Eggroll by sponsoring Ten event marketing vehicles which are managed by A Taste of Soul Catering. These events were called Soul Tours and showcase the Collard Green Eggroll. They were held at the Pathmark store locations where the Collard Green Eggroll made its debut. These events created a customer base, market awareness and a product recognition for the Collard Green Eggroll. In 2014, A Taste Of Soul Catering began to concentrate on Food Manufacturing. Forming a new company called Carey's Gourmet LLC. The company sole focus would be on manufacturing foods designed to meet the exciting new demands for supermarkets, Movie theatres, sports arenas, and other wholesale avenues where the Collard Green Spring Roll can capture these new business ventures.
