The Crafts-n-Beer 2nd annual Indie Arts & Crafts Fest will feature handcrafted work by local artists & crafters and Motor City Brewing Works craft beer at the MCBW Warehouse in Midtown on November 27, 2021. Come meet the makers, socialize and shop in a fun and festive environment from 12pm-8pm.

Our event features the work of over 20 experienced and emerging artists and crafters who are passionate about their craft. We offer an eclectic mix of hand-selected vendors who have displayed exceptional skill and originality. Come meet the makers behind the work and shop handmade this holiday season.
HANDCRAFTED BEER
Our event sponsor Motor City Brewing Works is the oldest operating microbrewery in Detroit. They offer handcrafted artisanal beer that has been brewed in-house for the freshest taste, and they’re home of Ghettoblaster Ale, a favorite among craft beer drinkers.
HOLIDAY CHEER
What would a seasonal craft show be without festivities? Our event is being held at the MCBW Warehouse in Detroit, but don’t let that fool you. We adorn the warehouse with lights, garland and festive decorations so you truly feel like you’ve stepped into a local holiday market. The warehouse is located in the heart of the Midtown business district, so there will be lots of activity all day long.

We love putting on the Indie Arts & Crafts Fest and we infuse that love into every aspect of the event! Our friendly vendors, bar staff, event managers and volunteers strive to create a relaxing and fun environment where you can socialize with like-minds and enjoy yourself without pretense or pressure.

We will be featuring more amazing handmade crafts by the best local crafters, artists and makers – they are not only incredibly talented, they are also some of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. They really pour their heart & soul into what they make! ❤️
The refreshing craft beer selection will again be provided by Motor City Brewing Works, home of Ghettoblaster Ale. Motor City is Detroit’s oldest operating brewery, dating back to 1994. They were one of the first established businesses in Cass Corridor that helped to revitalize the city.
Saturday November 27 is also SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY! We are excited to offer the community another great opportunity to support local businesses and shop indie makers. To learn about our vendors, see our Updates page.
The event is being held across the street from Motor City Brewing Works, on the same block as Third Man Records and Shinola. It’s centrally located between lots of popular shops, bars and fun things to do. If you get hungry, MCBW also has delicious apps, salads, and speciality brick oven pizza.
Everyone took a hit in 2020, let’s come together to make a difference for those who make a difference to us. Gifting original handmade goods is not only a thoughtful way to show someone you care, it also helps local small businesses thrive.

More About Us
The Indie Arts & Crafts fest was born in 2019. At that time, we’d intended to make this an annual event, then the pandemic hit. Now that restrictions are being lifted, we are excited to again bring this event to the community in 2021. That makes this our second annualish Crafts-n-Beer event.
That’s right! We feature Handmade Crafts & Craft Beer.
The handmade crafts are provided by a carefully selected group of talented local makers, artists and crafters. They are genuinely amazing people. You’ll have to see for yourself on November 27.
The craft beer is provided by our sponsor, Motor City Brewing Works. They have the best selection of craft beer for those who have discerning tastes, or who simply enjoy a great tasting beer.

FREE ENTRY! Tickets to the event are encouraged but not required. This is an all-ages show but you must be 21 or older to drink.
The Crafts-n-Beer Indie Arts & Crafts Fest is being held on Small Business Saturday November 27 from noon until 8pm.
We are located at the MCBW Warehouse at 441 W Canfield St Unit #10, in Midtown Detroit. The warehouse is across the street from the Motor City Brewing Works taproom.
