The Siesta Key Crystal Classic is a 4 day event showcasing sculptures made out of the #1 sand on Siesta Key Beach. This festival, filled with 4 days of live music, sculpting lessons, demos, amateur contest, Quick Sand competition, 8 teams of two master sand sculptors and 8 solo artists - it is in its 11th year and welcomes over 50,000 attendees. In 24 short sculpting hours, sand sculptors go head to head to win a part of the $15,000 in awards with the awards ceremony held on Sunday afternoon. The event remains open through Monday with vendors open from Friday through Monday.
