Debra Church, Cambria Heights, NY
She placed in one of the 2nd runner-up spots in an online singing contest for the movie Dreamgirls, sponsored by Paramount Pictures in Hollywood, CA. Debra has also been featured in Andalusia Star News and Around Town magazine. She received White House recognition from U.S. Representative for Alabama's 2nd congressional district Martha Roby, on her performance at Arts on Third Festival in Mt. Vernon, NY.
She made a vocal appearance on an inspirational track for dancehall reggae star-turned gospel artist, Chevelle Franklyn (Mr. Lover Man). Debra graced the stage for Denny Moe’s Superstar Barbershop’s annual “Cutting For a Cure” event. She also opened up for Karen Clark-Sheard and Kierra Sheard at the southern Alabama concert “Favor Ain’t Fair.”
Debra is an independent recording artist and co-owner of Master Plan Productions with Darin “Pianoman” Whittington; a producer who has worked with artists like Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, & Toni Braxton. As a gifted songwriter, she sets her standards high in creating unforgettable music and timeless vocals for any music genre.
