For centuries, people have used gemstones and colors in jewelry and clothing because of the attributes associated with the stone or color such as protection, good luck and prosperity.
It is believed that, in many cultures, our focused thoughts can bring about a desired outcome. The conscious use of gemstones and colors act much like a string tied around your finger - wearing them reminds you to focus. While wearing aventurine or tiger's eye may not bring you a winning lottery ticket, they can help you focus your thoughts on your goal and, by directing positive thoughts to that goal, achieve it.
