Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering & Western Music Rendezvous in Lewistown, Montana is listed in Patricia Schultz' travel book, 1,000 Places to See in the US and Canada Before you Die! The 4-day Gathering is a celebration of the history and heritage of the Rocky Mountain northwest 'before the wire.' Over 100 cowboy poets, musicians and art/gear vendors participate annually. Sat. August 8th Dave Stamey, singer/songwriter, stars at the Grand Stage Show.

This Montana Festival will have antique/collectibles, commercial/retail, corp./information, crafts, film, fine art, fine craft, flea market and homegrown products exhibitors, and tba food booths. There will be 1 stage with Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Fri 7pm-11pm; Sat 9am-2am; Sun 10am-4pm. This event will also include: parades, kids games, vendors, art & craft shows, car show, rodeo.
