Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering & Western Music Rendezvous in Lewistown, Montana is listed in Patricia Schultz' travel book, 1,000 Places to See in the US and Canada Before you Die! The 4-day Gathering is a celebration of the history and heritage of the Rocky Mountain northwest 'before the wire.' Over 100 cowboy poets, musicians and art/gear vendors participate annually. Sat. August 8th Dave Stamey, singer/songwriter, stars at the Grand Stage Show.

This Montana Specialty-Theme Event will have antique/collectibles, crafts, fine art and fine craft exhibitors, and 2 food booths. There will be 6 stages with International, National, Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Thu 1pm-10pm; Fri-Sat 9am-10pm; Sun 10am-12:30pm. Admission tickets are $15 - $60. This event will also include: bbq, play, vintage western raffle, dance, cowboy church, night show, vendors.
