Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering & Western Music Rendezvous in Lewistown, Montana is listed in Patricia Schultz' travel book, 1,000 Places to See in the US and Canada Before you Die! The 4-day Gathering is a celebration of the history and heritage of the Rocky Mountain northwest 'before the wire.' Over 100 cowboy poets, musicians and art/gear vendors participate annually. Sat. August 8th Dave Stamey, singer/songwriter, stars at the Grand Stage Show.

This Montana State Fair will have commercial/retail and crafts exhibitors, and tba food booths. There will be 2 stages with National talent and the hours will be Wed 3pm-9pm; Thu 11am-9pm; Fri-Sat 11am-10pm. Admission tickets are $10 - $30. This event will also include: carnival, petting zoo.
