The Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games is the largest, longest continually-running three-day event celebrating, promoting, and honouring Scottish heritage in Canada. With annual attendance of over 20,000, the Festival offers programming that illuminates the four pillars of traditional Scottish culture: highland dance, Heavies competitions, pipes and drums, and the gathering of over 40 clans. Local and international musicians enliven the festival grounds and the businesses, pubs, and theatres in Fergus, Ontario's charming downtown core. We've got something for everyone, from heart-thumping Celtic music, to traditional artisans, educational workshops, McKiddies fun, and all the best of Scotland...without the airfare!
