I've always been interested in art and color, but since I received a digital camera several years ago, I've become intrigued with photography.I love taking photographs in the forest preserves and parks surrounding Chicago and at the botanic gardens. I started taking photos of nature primarily, but lately I've become fascinated with photomanipulation which has become my latest passion. There are 5 photo editors that I enjoy experimenting with to see what unique images I can create. A new interest is creating,fun, joyful images directly from the computer-I hope they bring a smile to your face and brighten your day. My background is in nursing. For many years I worked as a nursing supervisor on Alzheimer/Dementia units in long term care facilities in the Chicago area. I'm currently facilitating an Alzheimer Support Group for family members. I loved working with the residents and their families, but I'm having a marvelous time now creating unusual and fascinating images with my camera.
