Monday, March 15, 2010 06:03 pm EDTI've been selling my products at fairs and festivals for about one year. I have recently started applying for juried shows, but I've noticed that many vendors at the juried shows have these large white fancy tents. If I need to purchase one of these tents down the road, where do I get them?00000

Wednesday, September 22, 2010 06:01 pm EDTI have a Light Dome. Got it a few years back at half price ($500 was half price then). It has been fantastic. But many people start with EZ Up tents, which you can usually pick up at someplace like Costco. I sold my EZ Up when I got the Light Dome and can't remember where I bought it. Googleing around a little should bring you some more info. good luck!00000
Wednesday, September 29, 2010 11:24 pm EDTI got my tent on ebay a few years ago. Some of the things you need to look for are: Is it in a carrying case and does that case have wheels. They're heavy. When you put up the side do they meet at the corners. If they don't it will let wind and rain come through. Also check and see if it has replacement parts. Some companies do. Remember you need some sort of weights to hold it down. In the grass I use they things that twist into the ground and staps to hold it down. Just my thoughts, Good Luck00000
Wednesday, October 13, 2010 05:11 pm EDTI just purchased a 10x15 on ebay for $149 will all 4 sides and windows. Most shows will not let you use straps, so we use 3 gallon paint buckets that we put a pvc pipe in the center and fill with concrete, the tent legs fit inside the pvc pipe perfectly. To dress them up, I made some cotton sleaves (elastic at the top) to fit over the pvc.... turned out really cute! Hope that this helps!00000
Wednesday, February 9, 2011 06:47 pm ESTMost shows I've done only allow 10x10 tents unless more than one space is paid for. Is this the case generally, or does it vary by location?00000

Thursday, November 7, 2013 11:01 pm ESTRegardless of whether you use a canopy, tent or whatever make sure you stake it down whenever possible and if you are on pavement have weights on each leg to hold it down , sadly at a March of Dimes event when we arrived there was no wind and thoughout the event it wa00000
Tuesday, November 26, 2013 11:08 am ESTI used EZ up tents for many years; higher end shows will not allow this type of tent, so you had best look at other brands such as those offered by Flourish or Light Dome. They are expensive, but worth every penny. Takes longer to set up of course...typically 45-60 minutes, but they are water-proof, not prone to flying away during high winds, as the lighter tents can do, even with weights on them. Also, make sure legs are straight up and down, not angled. Lastly, 99.9% of shows allocate 10x10 or 10x12...anything more, you are going to pay for two spots, so stick with a 10x10 tent! Good luck at your shows.00000
Monday, December 9, 2013 07:58 pm ESTDoes it matter what size tent you use? I have a tent, but it is on the large size.ย00000
