An American-Icelandic artist and songwriter, Gaby DeSpain, has travelled extensively in countries all over the world, spending seven years living in India and Turkey. Gaby has experience in theatre, film, and dance but music is what has always provided solace and the heartbeat to her life. Currently writing and recording an album with the production team of Glenn Lorbecki and Sue Ennis, and performing eccentric live shows in the Seattle greater-area with her accompanist Quinn Krivanek, she crafts alternative-pop tunes with dark themes, mature lyrics, and sweet melodies.
DeSpain has performed at various venues and festivals such as Barboza, Sunset Tavern, Magnolia Summerfest, Queen Anne Day, The High Dive, and more.
