My name is Debbie and I have loved to paint and create things since I was 5 years old. My grandmother started me with paint by numbers in oil. But I never followed the color code they gave. I then started to copy by site cartoons of all kinds. I study art and took many classes from drawing to oil painting. Today I am finally following my dream and creating my own art. I paint intuitively; I never really know what I am going to paint, I just start painting. Once I see something take form I work with that. However they come about each piece has a meaning behind it for me. Art can be interpreted differently for each person. One of the things I love about art is how it speaks differently to each and every person.
About 3 years ago my boyfriend, who is a very talented musician, help me to discover another artistic talent that I would have never thought to even attempt. It was, writing lyrics to the music he composes. The music gener is spiritual and I have incorporated some of the lyrics into my art and their titles.
