Paws-Ability, Calabash, NC
Paws-Ability is the sole charity of Calabash Oktoberfest which is celebrating its 6th anniversary. The proceeds go towards its spay and neuter program in Brunswick County, N.C.
Calabash Oktoberfest is a satellite event of the Munich Oktoberfest which had its beginnings with a royal wedding in 1810.
Some of the traditions incorporated from the original event are a huge beer tent, Oktoberfest beer and food, horse drawn carriage rides, area vendors and a Bavarian style brass band.
