Art Creation station is a place where participants gather and complete a painting or other forms of Art, either for fun or for learning and developing a new skill. The classes are about two hours long. Structured step by step classes are provided with all supplies included. It is also a great place to meet wonderful new friends in a fun learning environment. Everyone is welcome to bring snacks and a beverage of choice.
Katrina Maralit Vogler has been a visual artist for over 25 years. A loving mother of three children and a devoted wife to her husband of over 20 years. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the Fashion institute of Technology, NYC in 1994, where she majored in General Illlustration. She is currently back in college to pursue a Degree in Graphic Design. While she resided in Toledo, OH, from 2001-2006, she worked as an independent art instructor for 2 years. She also participated in Juried Art shows, Art Exhibitons and Competions, where she earned numerous awards and sold multiple paintings. Upon her return to Michigan, she continued to teach and worked as an Art Instructor for the Nuveen Community for the Arts(ACWL). Other career options began to interest her after working as an Art Teacher for several years. In 2010, she explored the Healthcare Industry and was hired for five years as a Rehabilitation Specialist for clients with Traumatic Brain Injuries. Her passion for the Arts motivated her to return to it. Towards the middle of 2015, she resigned from being a rehab specialist to pursue her career in the Arts. The Art Creation Station was launched in January 1st 2018. This is a home-based business where guests can come in and paint, draw and do other forms of Art for a fun learning experience for all, ages 9 and up.
