Landrum's Homestead & Village is a re-creation of a late 1800's settlement. Thirty years ago our original plan was to build a cabin to preserve our history and teach our grandchildren the importance of hard work, family dependence on each other and how we must preserve our heritage. Today history comes to life with over 70 buildings and displays nestled in a beautifully landscaped setting, covering over 20 acres of lush pecan trees, streams and southern foliage. You can step back in time and take a walking tour of the past which includes restored houses, general store, watermill gristmill, gem mining, chapel, antique tool & farm equipment, laser shooting gallery, maze, forestry exhibit & fire tower, and much more. The Homestead is a wonderful place for individuals, families or groups to enjoy!
