This is the staircase at Cape May Lighthouse which has exhibits at strategic spots for people to rest and learn the story and significance of the building. At the top of the staircase is a WWII veteran who tells the story. As an aside since I am sitting at the Starbucks at Rockefeller Center, I know Mr. Brokaw has an interest in WWII veterans. A part of his story which may interest people is that a Nazi submarine was sunk right off Cape May Lighthouse within a couple miles.
