I have designed my most recent line Or Jewelry, to be fun, whimsical, colorful, easy to wear and affordable. It's a light and refreshing change from the fine jewelry and red-carpet work I've done in the past.
I love this new look and how accessible it is. I began creating it last year for Christmas, when I was asked to create fun, affordable jewelry for a few auctions with the proceeds going to Refuge woman in the USA, Animal Abuse and children in need.
I began designing jewelry after spending the early part of my career travelling to different countries, England, France, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, Israel, Cyprus, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. When visiting new places I would always enjoy finding new design ideas, whether from local artists, museums or the many incredible markets I found.
It was a lot of fun and I feel blessed to have lived and traveled to such beautiful places. Meeting the local people was as rewarding as seeing the sights. In each country I met interesting and friendly people.
On my journeys I collected old book plates, magazines and antique images, which I incorporate into my designs, as well as modern art pieces and image design.
These most recent designs feature a special handmade magnifying which enhances and gives more detail. I have over 60 different lovely designs of pendants earrings and bracelets, and each piece is limited edition.
