Hi, my name is Renee Black, owner of Reneescreatives and I make and design handcrafted jewelry. I have my own online home-based business in Kalamazoo, Michigan, specializing in handmade custom jewelry.
I fell in love with jewelry making over ten years ago while visiting with my youngest sister who lives in Denver, CO. I started off with just making jewelry for myself. Eventually family and friends wanted me to make jewelry for them, so my youngest sister, who was also making her own jewelry, decided that maybe we should start a business selling our jewelry.
I decided to better my skills and learn different techniques in jewelry making so I could offer good quality handcrafted jewelry to my customers, therefore I took a course at Sheffield School for Jewelry Design, now known as the New York Institute of Art and Design located in NYC, New York.
I offer custom work for weddings, proms, and other special occasions as well as the available pieces in stock listed on my website.
