Bonnie Franklin has been a fine jeweler working in gold and silver for over 25 years. Trained under the tutelage of a master goldsmith who taught her the value of classical aesthetics, her design sense reflects her regard for the art nouveau movement and a genuine love and appreciation for gemstones.
Bonnie's jewelry designs feature the gemstones first and foremost. The gold and silversmithing work is designed to both accent the stone (on an artistic level) and create a secure setting and a comfortable fit for the person wearing her jewelry.
The former owner of two commerical jewelry stores, Bonnie now works out of a small studio and exhibits her jewelry at Arts and Craft shows with her crafter/photographer/writer-husband Tom Franklin. Her jewelry is also available online at http://bluecatgallery.etsy.com and http://5catgallery.com.
Bonnie and Tom are also staff to their six cats as well as a small (but growing) colony of wild birds who appreciate the safety of the large bird feeder that is a section of their back porch.
