The Delaware Friends of Folk present a festival of great variety during the first weekend of October. On Friday night, we feature the culmination of the Delmarva Folk Hero Contest, an open mic contest that takes place over the course of the year. Each of the performers who won the highest vote totals during the open mic coffeehouse programs performs a set. The audience then votes, and the winner performs a set during Saturday's program.

This Delaware State Fair will have fine art, fine craft, crafts, flea market, homegrown products and antique/collectibles exhibitors, and no food booths. There will be 2 stages with International, National, Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Thu 12pm-11pm, Fri 8am-11pm, Sat 8am-11pm, Sun 8am-11pm, Mon 8am-11pm, Tue 8am-11pm, Wed 8am-11pm, Thu 8am-11pm, Fri 8am-11pm, Sat 8am-11pm. Admission tickets are $4 - $9. This event will also include: rodeo, demolition derby, nightly parades, carnival, contests, animals.
