tOd and the Bad Ideas are a versatile rock band based in Columbus, Ohio, performing a combination of original compositions and classic rock favorites.
We describe our sound as "bombastecoustic" (bom-bast-ee-koo-stik) ... amplified acoustic instruments with a variety of percussion and layered vocals. We're focused on crafting songs that connect with our listeners and inspire them to sing along.
We've been fortunate to perform with a few regional and national acts, most notably, two performances at the Value City Arena for pre-concert festivities (Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers).
Our set lists contain a solid mix of our material, which has been featured on local and state radio, as well as a catalog of classics from artists like The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, John Mellancamp, Rod Stewart and others.
