The Country Gentlemen Tribute Band: Our entire concept is to provide a re-creative sound of the various, now famous, Country Gentlemen bands down through the years. Since our guitar player, Mike Phipps, does vocally sound “almost identical” to the famous Charlie Waller, we especially use this as the focal point of our performances. You literally will have to hear it to believe your ears. We try to stay as tried and true as we can in recreating the sound of The Country Gentlemen, which in our opinion, was extremely instrumental in the very success and growth of bluegrass music itself.
