The Summer Januaries are a fiddle/guitar/vocal folk duo. They formed as a busking duo, playing fiddle tunes at Seattle's Pike Place Market. They soon began injecting fiddle tunes into harmony laden arrangements of their favorite songs, and these inventive arrangements became the defining element of their sound. They have continued writing original music, and have been performing at festivals, farmer's markets, weddings, and street corners throughout the United States and Europe.
