The international Depression Glass Club (IDGC) started in 1971 with two sales/shows a year. IDGC is a nonprofit organization that want to help our customers learn about vintage/antique glass, when it was made, what it was used for, etc.
We started with vendors just selling depression glass. Since that time we have expanded to glass, china and pottery that is at least 25 years old. We do not sell shabby chic or furniture. We have expanded some merchandise to be more in tune with the times, but the focus is still glass, china and pottery. Our vendors can now add what we consider "go alongs," such as linens, cookbooks/books, pictures, jewelry, kitchenware, silver and more. The merchandise still has to be at least 25 years old. Our vendors currently come from California and Washington. Glass and other merchandise has a special appear for those who want quality and a chance to finish set or buy "new to you" items. These items can add special character and ambiance to a home or business. As part of living in a sustainable way, purchasers get a chance to reuse and recycle these items and get beauty as well. They will be walking away with a piece of history for an affordable price.
