On August 6, the Carter Fold will present the 48th annual Carter Family Memorial Festival held in celebration of the historic 1927 Bristol Sessions. This year is the 95th anniversary of the Sessions, in which the Original Carter Family first recorded some of their most iconic songs and laid the groundwork for the genre of country music. Held annually the first Saturday in August
