I provide a program on 19th Century Norwegian immigration. Using an immigrant trunk as a focal point, I tell what it was like to immigrate to Minnesota in the mid 1800's The audience discovers the choices immigrants had to make when coming to this new land. They also learn some of the customs that go along with items in the trunk. This program is presented in first person as I portray my great grandfather.
