Penn Cove Water Festival Association
Continuing the tradition of Native Canoe Races of the 1930s, revived in 1992. The Penn Cove Water Festival, held in historic Coupeville on beautiful Whidbey Island, is a free family festival, including tribal canoe races, storytelling, native arts and crafts, youth activities, native music, dance, demonstrations, educational exhibits and displays, fry bread and other native and Northwest foods.
