Governor’s Plan to reopen:
North Dakota presently has in place a reopening plan, entitled ND Smart Restart Protocols.
Mask Mandates:
Through January 17, 2020, North Dakota requires face coverings to be used by all employees and patrons inside indoor businesses and indoor public settings, as well as in outdoor business and public settings when it’s not possible to maintain physical distancing.
Mass Gathering Restrictions:
As of January 15, 2021, there is no blanket ban on mass gatherings in North Dakota. However, there are a number of restrictions on events in banquet halls, ballrooms, and other large event venues. Further, many social distancing and hygiene-related guidelines apply.
