Mask Mandates:

Requirement. Oregon Health authority issued guidance on wearing masks pursuant to EO 20-27. Beginning July 15, Oregonians statewide will be required to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces, whether publicly or privately owned as well as outdoors when physical distancing is not possible. Beginning July 24, children age 5 and up are required to wear a mask, face shield or face covering. Face coverings are now required when exercising indoors, plus outdoors when you can’t physically distance.Beginning October 19, employers are required to provide employees with face coverings if they operate in an indoor or outdoor setting.

Mass Gathering Restrictions:

EO No. 20-66, effective Dec. 18, 2020, establishes a county-by-county metrics-based approach to controlling COVID-19 transmission, restrictions are therefore dependent upon the county's risk level. Effective February 26:

  • 5 of 36 counties are in the Extreme Risk (red) category, social and at-home gatherings are limited to 6 people outside and 6 people inside. The limit for outdoor recreation or entertainment establishments is 50 people.

  • 11 of 36 counties are in the High Risk (orange) category, social and at-home gatherings are limited to 6 people outside and 8 people inside. The limit for outdoor recreation or entertainment establishments is 75 people.

  • 10 of 36 counties are in the Moderate Risk (yellow) category, social and at-home gatherings are limited to 10 people outside and 8 people inside. The limit for outdoor recreation or entertainment establishments is 150 people.

  • 10 of 36 counties are in the Lower Risk (green) category, social and at-home gatherings are limited to 12 people outside and 10 people inside. The limit for outdoor recreation or entertainment establishments is 300 people.
