Watermelon Festival Kickoff Dinner & Bed Race

The following will be announced at the dinner: Watermelon Festival Co‑Chairs, 2023 Miss Watermelon Queen, Jr Miss Watermelon Queen, Tiny Miss/Mister, Princess/Prince pageant winners, Parade Grand Marshal, Program Cover and Baby Photo Contest winners. Adults (over 12): $10 Children (up to 11): $5 At the door prices: $12, & $7 Each team will consist of two pushers and one rider and a homemade bed. Teams can claim top prize if they can run the fastest, roll a watermelon from point A to point B then be the first to push the bed across the finish line. Awards will be given to the fastest team and for Best Dressed Bed.
