I have been blessed with many talents. To name a few: Sewing. I learned to sew on a Singer Pedal
Machine about 70 years ago. In my 20's, I went into a partnership with my sister, and we opened
a shop in down town Columbia, SC where we made and altered garments, and accessories. Following the professional sewing, I began a career in Accounting which lasted for 30 + years.
Flower Arranging. I took a short course at Midlands Tech and was able to open my own shop.
I'm retired now, but I still sew, do flower arranging, and now my favorite craft is designing and making Jewelry Art. I use an assortment of antique, vintage, and modern pieces of jewelry to create
framed designs.
Crochet. I have crocheted numerous items over the years also..
I've enjoyed sharing my talents with others by vending at Craft Shows around the State.
Because of my age, (84) I look for opportunities closer to my home.
